Happy New Year!

We've received lots of email in the three months since redesigning the site; all of it lovely. Some have come to the site with the direction of the bookflap of The Postcard Century. Some have come from links and search engines. One friend just tried Tom's name with a co.uk to see what would happen.

One reader found us while searching a friend's name online, and was greeted on the site by Tom's portrait of him. Another ordered copies of The Postcard Century as gifts, and kept a hardcover British edition for herself. She writes from Massachusetts that she curled up each night by the Christmas tree to read a bit more.

We were also fortunate to receive notice that Geoffrey Boycott faced possible vaporisation by the interplanetary fellows at www.martian.fm. This is the first such notice we've received regarding Tom's sitters.

I'm most moved by the email from around the world that simply says, "Thanks." You have our thanks in return.

Warmest wishes for 2001!
JOHN NICK PULL, editor.
